by kenHuocj - last update: Mar 10, 2007

Another visit to the MOTHER CITY

despite the too short visit to SA
it would have been inncomplete without a short stopover in Cape Town;
visited friend Ande de W whose runs a Tourist Guide School,
also a fine guide himeslf, for small groups
and larger special interest groups.
A wine tour of the Durbanville Hille Hills Route
A snoek Braai /bbq
not quite, but amazing Tafelberg

the southernmost tip of Africa

Cape Town and the Winelands is the Destination for Travellers, tourists and businessmen alike.

Amazing photo EH ?

wish I could find the source, but it is taken from Bloubostsrand
and this is what it looked like to Jan Van Riebeeck in 1652
wonder if Zheng Ho ever saw this scenery?

 I'm happy for Mother City to have Helen Zille for a mayor. At least some hope after for SA after Zuma's victory. Hopefully, the winds of change will come from Western Cape this time....

 Great page Ken! I would love to go here! Thanks for all the links; saved them for further use. And I think I've solved your restaurant quiz question :-)

 How lucky you are that you get to go to South Africa often. I enjoyed your Cape Town page.
