year's end of 2006 became something very "extra ordinary" for us since we celebrate it in the heart of the forest. a lush greenery place so called way kambas national park. or way kanan 'resort' and sumatran rhino sanctuary to be exact.
i already met with an enchanting creature that i dreamt about for a long time named "rosa" and playing with a baby-boy elephant [about 1 month old] named "jo" -- his named given after president george walker bush visited indonesia on november 20th 2006.

and not only two of them, among sumatran rhinoceros i also had met with 'englishman' tor [torgamba], and the ladies bina and ratu. plus ria, jo's beloved mother.
sailing along kali biru in the heart of way kanan to direction kuala kambas, can be found the king fishers, monitor lizzard, the eagles and voila! a cute phyton over the roof of the lodge. and sweet baby piggies that frequently asked about wafer cream 'vanila susu' that we'd brought from the town :)
