Getting TO/AROUND: * there’s a night sleepers train abela aegypt, from ramses II railway station to direction aswan. take a stop at luxor railway station, about 15 minutes walking from luxor temple. nice service and couchette, with ticket usd53/pax/one way. departures: 08.30 pm, arrival: 05.05 am reservation at ramses II cairo or several travel agents or directly to the sleeping cars service. * an another option which is also comfy, takes nefertiti class. per room contain of 6 seats without couchette. ticket price LE65/pax/one way.

Touching does'nt usually mean you're buying. Foreign coins...they ask you to swop for foreign/egyptian notes....coins were given in tips & can't be exchanged.. tourists can make a profit here - sometimes willing to trade for less than value | MalenaN Mon Jan 30, 2006 16:29 UTC
