Albert Court Hotel (180 Albert Street Singapore): a fancy tall building next to little india Albert Court Hotel Review
Show Prices

Unique Qualities: walking along the street in a shower rain, an old building looks so interesting. not only about its architecture, but six pointed star there on top as the icon, with a word there 'david elias buildynos 1923'. not so far from this place, again i find a fancy old building with several different colours on the wall. from orange, yellow, dark yellow [not yet turn into orange :)] with 'signboard' albert court hotel. this is an 8-storey boutique hotel, with shophouse style building.

sleepy sam's: come as a guest, leave as a friend Sleepy Sam's Bed & Breakfast Review
Show Prices

for a place to stay, sleepy sam's already fulfilled my special requests: situated at the cozy place, surrounded by old buildings [it's at arab quarter, next to sultan mosque singapore and historical kampong glam] and close to the public transportation [mrt station: bugis and bus shelter at victoria street], hawker stalls and accessable to many direction in the heart of the town! and the thing i like beside these valuable things, of course about sleepy sam's own motto-grotto "come as a guest, leave as a friend".
about the price, yes. it's acceptable. private about S$65 and dorms start from S$25.
terima kasih ya sam, saya tamu yang cerewet yaaa. hahahah :) but you also enjoy the way i address your place as 'lovely jubely place to stay' :)

Unique Qualities: sleepy sam's using old narrow chinese house which is stands from 2 floors, at sam's i can find: mini cafe, internet access room, living room and nice corners for reading at the first floor. then, bed rooms [private and dorms] at the second floor. and as a backpacker, i like to be back to sam's before my departure to have a bath. then only takes 15 minutes to changi international airport by mrt. it's cool!

Address: 55 bussorah street, next to sultan mosque and muscat street

Comparison: about average

Directions: ~ from bugis mrt station to direction arab street and turn to sultan mosque, find the entrance gate of the mosque and turn to the left.
~ landmarks from victoria street: raffles hospital and golden landmark hotel
