  • Favorite Thing: Thailand and Indonesia (especially Bali island) are very common in views, temperature and nature condition. So, visit this country looks like going somewhere in my Indonesia, except the lingo. The most I like to see is about aerial views from the plane's window before landed at Don Muang airport. Seems so welcome and mirroring my country and Thailand have a good relationship since few centuries ago :)

Fondest Memory: The beautiful scenery on board in my flight to Bangkok.

  • Favorite Thing: But in contrary, after I see the beautiful scenery on board in my flight, I have to involved with heavy traffic of Bangkok. Again, it's quite similar with my Jakarta --capital city of Indonesia. And Mr. Jesus Cordoba, the President Director of BMW Indonesia giving comments; Jakarta more hectic in traffic jam, comparing with Bangkok :)

Fondest Memory: But even it's in heavy traffic, I enjoy to be here. Seeing the temples, traditional ones in a modern area make me so stunning and enjoy them. Unfortunately, I miss the floating market at Chao Phraya river.

General Tips: From Rama I to XII
  • Tip Rating:
  • Favorite Thing: Walking around Bangkok, I always enjoy the names of the streets which are reflecting Sanskrit lingo. And the most I remember are the names of Rama dynasty (the kings) which can be read at the billboard on the freeway. I read from Rama I to Rama XII

Fondest Memory: I don't know why, but my favorite street is King Rama IX. And whenever I was in Thailand, this country was celebrated Queen Sirikit's birthday (in 2002 her age is 72), so I saw many decoration nearby the main streets.

  • Favorite Thing: I just want to underlining a 'theory' when I got history lesson in the elementary school. Many of big ancient kingdoms starting their golden era by the river. They start to build their power by the riverbanks. As happened in my own country; the Majapahit Empire. Angkor Wat in Cambodia and of course Kingdom of Thailand. I remember that when I go to the klong and find so many wat (vihara, chedi, stupa) which situated nearby the river.

Fondest Memory: Wat Arun, Wat Po, Wat Prakaew, Klong Bangkok Yai, Klong Mon and .... the backyard of Jim Thompson House
