stir-fried seafood with veggie (c) ukirsari
Favorite Dish: Again, there are so many seafood stalls along Portuguese Square. From Peranakan [Strait-born Chinese] to Portuguese - Malay style. One of them is fried snapper with onion and tomato. Added with chilli padi sauce. Truely delicious :)

Favorite Dish: In my hometown, this seafood called 'lorjuk'. Here, known as mussel which live within a shell like bamboo. Cooked spicy with tomato and red chilli sauce.

fried prawn (c) ukirsari
Favorite Dish: Fresh prawn fried with butter and served hot with steamed rice. And Bok who always asking about "chilli padi" [small green chilli diced and added soy sauce in it] make me try to add this sauce in my seafood and ... it's sooooo delicious!!!

otak otak melayu (c) ukirsari
Favorite Dish: Indonesia has this snack called 'otak-otak'. And it's also the same in Melaka. It's snapper meat added with wheat flour and egg and wrapped banana leaf [Indonesia] or coconut leaf [Malay style] then grilled.
And other differences: Indonesia's looks so white, since no additional red chilli sauce put in it. It's served with peanut sauce. But Malay style, put red chilli sauce in it and served without sauce.

menu set at famosa chicken (c) ukirsari
It's a Chinese Resto, with specialized in rice ball, Hainan chicken and roast duck. Plus several traditional and modern drinks, like jelly grass, sugar cane and lemonade.
Favorite Dish: There's 4 types of steam rice served here. Original steamed, steamed with flavor [salty] called Hainan rice, Hainan rice made like ball [called rice ball] and dark brown rice ball [maybe using different type of rice].
I prefer the Hainan rice ball which seems so compact and fit with my chopstick. Then undebatable roast duck and steam chicken. Both of them are crispy and delicious. Added with veggie, cucumber and light soup as assortments.
