Being fall, the weather is quite brisk. It was only reaching 60º F. in the afternoon. That, in combination with the cold water, meant we needed these suits. Even then, my wife was cold once on the water.

We've been here a few times but only for whitewater rafting on the New and Gauley Rivers near Oak Hill, West Virginia. The fun of a long weekend here makes the 12 hour drive from our home worth it. Our next trip shall be longer so that we can explore more of what the area has to offer.
