I have titled this photo Ka mo‘o po‘o ‘ekolu i ka lapu holoholo. Can you see why? Come on...do you see it? No? It's very obvious. Try again. You still cannot see it? Are you sure?

OOPS! I forgot to translate it. The title translates roughly to: The ghost rides the three-headed serpent.. How's that? Can you see it now?

This photo was taken at Kahana Bay Beach Park along O‘ahu's northeast shore. What was so unusual was that I snapped this photo simply because I thought it was intriguing how the ocean had eroded the sand from this ironwood's root structure. It was not until returning home and viewing the picture on my computer that I realized that the gray stump on the far right resembled a ghost straddling the body (the other three trunks along with their root structure) of a long-necked three-headed serpent.
