More wildlife!

Driving along the highway on the Kenai Peninsula just north of Soldotna, we saw a female moose with two calves. She was within 10 meters of the highway. We stopped for this shot. Of course, we stayed in the car and the mother never let on that she was nervous of us being there. Afterall, a moose with calves will be very protective of her offspring.

Wildlife!

It's called that for a reason. During our bus ride through Denali, we encountered a grizzly in the wild. Luckily, he was a few hundred meters away AND we were sitting in the bus! This is a still from a zoom shot on a camcorder.
