My first trip downunder..

I started exploring Australia first time in 1999 after 25 hours jumping from one plane to the other via Singapore and Darwin directly to Cairns, Queensland...My brain couldn't really follow and I did not know anymore what time of the day it is and what I thought it was... that's why I ended up with a rented car in some sort of beautiful rainforrest but far away from where I originally wanted to go.. so I took a deep breath, tried to concentrate and after about 2 hours since I arrived in Cairns I finally found Port Douglas...what a way to start..
Narooma Golf Court

My second trip all the way down Princes Highway

In March 2004 i did it again.... we went all the way down from Sydney to Melbourne and since we had time left in the end we also went down the Great Ocean Road .... WOW ..... this was really again a very great experience and made me want to go back again and again ......
Narooma Surf Beach

Great beaches .....

All the way down the coastline you will find wonderful beaches like this one in Narooma ........

Hallo Gunther! Your quote in a Nutshell summarizes it for me too. ;-) I could definately see myself living there permanently! Grüße aus Santa Barbara.

Cool pic of the sharks, man! :) Australia is truly God's gift for those who explore :)

That's great that you were able to see the wreck at Fraser Island, and that you stayed on Magnectic (Maggie!) Island. My sister worked at the Coconuts resort on Magnetic Island last year
