I hit Edinburgh for the second time in August 2004, during my two week trip to Scotland. By far one of my favorite cities- I loved it even more the second time around.
We were in Edinburgh for the tail end of the Fringe Festival- saw a number of great shows, met a number of great performers. I love how everyone is so open and friendly during the Fringe- and what a perfect place to have it. Visiting various historical sites by day, seeing hilarious comedic performances by night. Can't wait to make it back again! |

Festival time is certainly splendid...though I don't believe the locals are too keen unless they have flats they want to rent out! Probably not a good idea for anyone with an allergy to street performers either!! | jcots Sat Aug 7, 2004 02:25 UTC
