Budapest is one of the most beautiful Capitals of Europe for me. I love the great architecture there, the river Donau with its small Island Margarithe and of course the thermal baths for relaxing after a long sightseeing tour. I also like the faded shine of the socialism on some buildings. I was two times in Budapest; the first time in 1989 and the second time I visited a friend from my study in 2003. On the first time Hungary was a socialism state but I can remember so much because I was a child - but I know we could buy more trendy clothes there than in GDR. On my second trip I wasnīt shopping so much - I was more interested to realize the great places in Budapest. |
