This Island is Great for the first time traveler,so much to see & do-and to get there from the US it's a steal!And Freeport the major city on the island has all the thing's of home,banks,fast food chains,food stores,liquor stores-great prices,Port Lucaya - Has upscale shops and stores at a great open air market neat and clean!

Just bought a timeshare presentation promotional offer and Grand Bahamas Island is the last of 3 stops for us. We'll be in a hotel in Freeport so glad to hear you liked it. I expect we'll be going to Lucaya and Paradise Cove for the snorkelling.
