PHILLY SITE STILL UNDER CONSTRUCTION! | Hope we do GREAT next season!! |
Since I do (in a way) live in Philly, I know a lot about it. Philadelphia is a HUGE city, yet not quite as big as New York. The people there are somewhat friendly, and the area has a very urban feel to it. The Old City (Ben Franklin House, Independance Hall, etc.) is really my LEAST favorite part of the city, is very overrated, and does not show the true feel of the city. Areas such as Center City, Manayunk, North Philly, and the Northeast (as examples) are the real places where you get the flavour of this wonderful, large city. |

CJD472 Fri Aug 17, 2007 19:12 UTC I go to the center city location frequently and it is not at all expensive. It's very good traditional Italian (not americanized Italian like many chains are) for a low price due to the family style cuisine. $30-$40 for two people. | slmpq Sun May 18, 2003 03:05 UTC Great page! The Transportation section is very helpful and descriptive and the restaurants are good choices | skye820 Sat May 10, 2003 00:03 UTC Bad exhibits at the Art Museum??? I know you can't be talking about PMA!! | zap1168 Sun Jan 12, 2003 17:10 UTC great write-up on nifty fiftys |
