My college town

my old student I.D.
I will never forget this place! It's been my home for two years and I miss it. Sounds crazy because I consider myself a big city person and Laramie's such a small town (27,000 citizens). But it has a certain fascination and offers a lot for such a small place. The main reason is the University of Wyoming. About one third of the town's population are students. That's why you find a lot of bars in town. And cultural life. Laramie's also a place for outdoor freaks. Skiing, hiking, fishing, horse riding, snowshoeing, hunting, etc.

If you want to know more about the surrounding area, you should visit my "Centennial"-Page. Centennial is a small town 30 miles west of Laramie with some great outdoor activity possibilities.

Pros:"great college town, fun outdoor activities, nice western flair"
Cons:"conservative place, no growing economies, Budweiser wanted to build a brewery in Laramie, but the city council didn´t want the new business, they wanted to remain their city as it is"
In A Nutshell:"Had a great time in Laramie and will always come back to visit"
