Jackson, Grand Teton and Yellowstone | Buffaloes crossing the road near Jackson |
I have been to Jackson and the surrounding area twice. Each time for a visit of the two famous national parks that are just north of Jackson: Grand Teton National Park and - of course - Yellowstone National Park. On this page I wrote down information about the town of Jackson and the national parks and other area attractions as well. Jackson is built in western style. It is a little expensive, too, with lots of fancy stores and great restaurants. And countless hotels and motels. |

| Pros: | "Snowboarding, Geysirs, mud pools, buffaloes, bears, wolves, coyotes, fine dining, western atmosphere... the list goes on and on..." | | Cons: | "Yellowstone is still active volcanic land. The earth's crust is thin and below the park is a huge volcanic caldera that might erupt one day. Hopefully I'm not close to it when that happens." |

filipdebont Sat Sep 1, 2007 18:07 UTC Strange, you are Nr 1 Jackson page, almost without tips on Jackson, its almost all about G Teton and Yellowstone (which have their own pages on VT), Strange . . . | holetown Wed Dec 28, 2005 22:21 UTC The pool that I sat in at the BW LODGE had views of a fence next to storage units and gas station. The BW Inn at the ski area has views, but hotel is in need of updating. | Rickman77 Mon May 9, 2005 02:49 UTC Nice Jackson pages.
