Outdoor Heaven | Medicine Bow Peak and Lake Marie |
This is a photo of picturesque Medicine Bow Peak (about 12,500 feet high, I think) and Lake Marie. The mountain and the lake are part of the Snowy Range, which is a mountain range starting at Centennial (30 miles west of Laramie, Wy.). Centennial is just a little town with a population of 100, according to the city limits signs.
Some rich folks live there in the foothills of Snowy Range. Centennial has its own small elementary school, a public library (smaller than some people´s living rooms), a post office and a very good steak house! |
