| L.A. most favorite cinema |
The variety of things you can see in California is bigger than in most countries of the world. From the beaches in Southern California to the colder, forest-covered shoreline in Northern California. From Death Valley (lowest point in the US) to Mt. Whitney (the highest point of the US except some mtns. in Alaska). Deserts with huge cactus fields, green meadows, great lakes like Lake Tahoe. Big cities like L.A., San Francisco, San Diego or Oakland. Small towns like Tonopah (on the highway to Phoenix, Arizona) with just a couple of houses (gas station, restaurant and a ranch). Film industry, major sports, ski resorts - California has it all.
Oh, by the way, the photo above shows Mann´s Chinese Theatre in Hollywood (Hollywood Boulevard). The most favorite cinema of L.A. In front of the entrance you can see the handprints and foodprints of Hollywood´s greatest stars. |
