Come for a day or two and enjoy San Antonio!

Nickie and I came here for 10 days and it was a bit much, but the place has lots to offer for couples that want to enjoy a weekend trip away with he beauty of the river-walk, it's abundant restaurants and shopping opportunities and historic places such as the Alamo for the history buffs.

La villita also offers a unique chance to buy art and craft of varying quality in a gorgeous setting.

Pros and Cons
  • Pros:Lovely riverwalk, friendly people, tourist friendly, lots of things to visit for a weekend
  • Cons:The quality of the riverwalk restaurants is OK: you pay for the location. Not much to see after a few days
  • In a nutshell:A lovely place for a romantic Tex-Mex weekend getaway!
