New York City Baby!

by Laurina - last update: Mar 13, 2003

Once Upon a Time...
Just got back from NYC after having been away from America for 5 years! It was great to be back...America has changed and yet it hasn't at all...but 40% of tv is made up of 'reality' shows...some reality...my goodness..what does it say about america?

sorry about what happened. security at airports are extremely tight but they are letting up. you are right to warn about overstaying, you may be blocked from re-entering for 3 or more years :(. just make sure you have your documents in check!

I'm so sorry about your experience in the US and I hope that doesn't leave a permanent bad impression of the country..I hope some of the people that enforce the rules will learn some compassion and common sense in certain situation.

You are right! No one, no one deserves to be treated with no dignity, especially for an honest mistake that you bring to their attention!
