Beautiful but Dry Spot... | The lake - but what's up with the Pagoda? |
When I go to Quetta for work I rarely get to go outside for security reasons, which is a shame. Apparently, Balochistan has some beautiful landscapes...This time my Pakistani colleague took us (myself, a Canadian and an Italian working there) to Hanna Lake, nestled in the hills 10 kilometers east of Quetta. Supposedly, you can hire a boat and paddle on the lake and arround the island in the middle. But now I hear the lake has completely dried up. Balochistan has suffered from a 7-year long drought. |
