Santa Monica is a pretty city on the Pacific coast 9 miles north of LAX, with about 100,000 population. It is a beach city, very popular with the tourists and visitors. It comes completely fully equipped with a sandy beach, parks, promenade, restaurants, shopping mall, ferris wheel and a pier.It is a very expensive place to live in or stay here in a hotel here, but very lovely and worthwhile. In the summer tourists from all countries ,especially the Japanese, come in bus loads to visit Santa Monica. When you stay in Santa Monica , you can walk or take the Blue Bus everywhere or most places within the city. It is a a perfectly safe city and very highly policed with an emphasis to keep the city's reputation nice and safe. You can walk here at any time of the day or night in the main areas without fear. I like this city. |
