Actually I spent only one night in Santa Susana. With two of my friends I hitch-hiked from Budapest to Barcelona. (Originally we wanted to go to Madrid but it is almost impossible to hitch-hike in Spain.) Somewhere on A1 highway of France near Montpellier one french guy picked up us. he was an air-bus designer from Paris heading to Santa Susana for a long weekend with his friends. When he asked where to take us: some gas station at the high-way or at the Costa Brava - of course we chosed the sea! He drove us right to the sea. We said 'mercie' and runned immediately into the waves! Then we went into a bar, drank some sangria, played billiard and had fun. Moreover we found an internet cafe which was quite empty around midnight. We used the service for free - no wonder! - my travel mates were students of IT University. They could easily 'hacked' the whole system. :) We slept on the coast waked up by a black man who was taking care the sun beds. First of all we swam a lot then found the shower building of the camping nearby. Top of the day was dinner on the main street. |
