Sometimes it felt like a bad soap opera: helpful smiling people...
smiling at the colour of money.
I found Thailand very westernized, well-organized,
and sometimes a bit artificial, too...
While I appreciated its beauty, undoubtly, this country left me a bit cold, unmoved.

'Wat To Phae' is not as listed in http://www.indexmundi.com/zp/th/24640.htm (N18.80 E97.91), nor does it match my experience: I live around here & wat is 5km SW / Khun Yuam. Mae Hong Son is ~45km N. I can send you photos if you pass me your email address.
