An oppressive place, but of incredible human beauty.
Mostar, the town that made me hope: Ivana and Dragica,
my wonderful teenage students who succeeded
where politicians failed
overcoming religious differences and becoming best friends.
Mostar: I will be back.

I will never forget Mostar from my trip in 1986. I am glad to hear you say that parts of it were not too badly damaged and restoration is underway. Our stop at Mostar was one of the highlights of our trip. Great pics and narratives! |
