Estadi Olimpic de Montjuic + museum Estadi Olimpic de Montjuic Review

This is for football fans who also like to combine some sightseeing together with their football matches. The Estadi Olimpic de Montjuic is now the home of the Barcelona Dragons - if you feel like watching a match - but before it was the venue for the opening and closing ceremonies and the track and field competition for the 1992 Olympics.
For some sports-related culture you can visit the Olympic museum and gallery under the south-east corner of the stadium

swimming at barceloneta Beach / Activities Review

If you are in barcelona you don't even have to leave the city to go swimming. Down by the old port there is a nice-ish and extremely long sandy beach where you can go swimming and windsurfing. Someone told me that some beaches are frequented by gays, and other are reserved for nude bathing and sunbathing - so you're better ask someone which beach to go to. Sidenote: at the end of october (2002) there were still people swimming
