    • Wonderful incredible multilingual staff - and extra-clean rooms. A really comfortable place to stay only 15 minutes walk from the Old Town. And there's a fun old black and white TV in the rooms, which should deserve to be placed in a museum (but it works). Madame Olga is the semi-paralitic french-speaking owner - she's a real institution, everyone knows her in Aleppo - and she's always happy to exchange a few words with the passing traveller.

    Unique Qualities: a cosy spacious room with tiny balcony. No private bathroom, but the staff were always busy cleaning the showers and toilets. Impossible to get them cleaner... they were sparkling!

     I didn't know there were dervishes here too!! Le Baron is one of those mytical hotels I'd love to visit one day, so much History inside... Great page as usual!
