I was there in Soviet time. Quite a different Memorial as compared to Braunau where Hitler, the other monster, was born. Nothing else than a small stone on the sidewalk at the birthplace where not even the name is written. Here a quasi-religious temple.

great! I wonder how Gori is pronounced in Georgian? Is it like 'gore'-y...which seems particularly fitting for Stalin's little town!
