Welcome to Smalltown Malaysia, Sungai Petani. Travelling in Malaysia should never be about snaping shots in front of landmarks. Come to SP, pop in to any of our coffee shop in the old town area (dont ask me how old they are as its inconsequential), order a cup of black coffee which will just set u back for 0.5 RM, dig in to nicely done toasts and semi boiled eggs. No, its not al fresco, or espresso, or what ever crap travel books sell u. It is life itself.
