I can't explain you a lot of things of Crete, just some impressions I took home of my four day trip o the island.
I had another idea of the island. I thought it was smaller and when I arrived there I noticed that it's really large. So if you want to know the island stay there at least a week.
I slept in an hotel near Hersonissos and from ther to Chania it took two hours and a half, and those points aren't the extrem points of the island so it can make you an idea of how far it is one point from each other. And there are a lot of places to visit.
This page will show you some tips that can help you to make a trip to there but they are only ideas, there some other places to visit like Samaria gorge, Vai beach, Lassithi, Gortys, Spinalonga.... places I didn't stayed but I think that can be visited. |
