Getting TO/AROUND: There's an international and domestic airport in brisbane... and there's now an air-train link, so you can save on the taxi fare and just hop on the train which will take you straight to 'central' station... which is the heart of brisbane. There is also a transit centre at 'Roma Street Station'. From here you can go basiscally anywhere by bus or train!
Brisbane has a pretty good public transport system. Except the prices always seem to be on the up. Still it's cheaper than many other places in the world. Travelling within Brisbane you've got three options, bus, train and ferry. You can see which is most suitable for you by going to the info-centre which is on the queen street mall... here you can get time tables for the bus and ferry. Timetables for the train lines are at the train stations.
