Quincy Market is a big food court at the Faneuil Hall Marketplace. In this building you will find one food stall next to the other offering Italian, Indian, Mexican, Asian, American, healthy food, seafood (clam chowder), pastries and desserts for a decent price. In the centre of the building under the beautiful cupola there is an area to sit down and eat your take-away food. It's a great place for a quick lunch.

Restaurant Name: Daily Catch
The Daily Catch is a small family owned italian restaurant. They serve fresh seafood prepared in authentic Sicilian style. The kitchen with only one cook takes up a corner of the place. You have to choose your meal from a blackboard on the wall. The meal is served in the pan it was cooked in, and wine must be drunk out of a plastic cup but this won't spoil the delicious food and great atmosphere. As the restaurant is very popular and only has about 16 seats, be prepared to line up outside. Payment: cash only
Favorite Dish: I liked the homemade black pasta (with squid ink) putanesca (olives, anchovy puree, sauteed with mushrooms, pepper and red onions).

Nemorino Wed Mar 19, 2008 19:56 UTC Those Duck Tours sound like a great idea! There was no such thing when I was last in Boston, but that was 27 years ago. The city seems to have changed a lot in the meantime. | nepalgoods Wed Jul 25, 2007 07:23 UTC Boston looks like a pleasant old city. Great page! | poly123 Wed Apr 18, 2007 09:00 UTC Long time since I came to your pages, but they are still wonderful. | Bwana_Brown Thu Nov 30, 2006 18:53 UTC Excellent tips and pics on your time in Boston! The city is looking as beautiful as ever - I have had numerous meetings there over the years but took hardly any photos in those days :-( |
