A medieval gem

by Helga67 - last update: Mar 18, 2009

G H E N T is the capital of the province Oost-Vlaanderen and situated between Bruges and Antwerpen.

Although less famous amongst tourists, it's a real medieval gem not to be missed. Strolling along the streets of Ghent, you will notice a lot of the buildings and architecture reminding of the powerful trade and commerce during medieval times.
