Getting around

Hasselt is a small city. It is easy to do everything on foot. Here is a map of the walk we did (see my 'must see activity' section for the walk).

Free city buses.

Travelling around Hasselt with the city bus is free of charge. All buses lead to the Stationsplein. And you won't have to wait any longer than half an hour. Just get on, no need to pay. These are lines H1 to H9, shuttle bus BP and CP, H11, H12.

By train

Hasselt is an IC station. This means that whether you travel from Antwerp, Bruges, Brussels, Gent, Liege for instance, there is a direct train on the hour, seven days a week.

How to get there?

Hasselt is easily accessible via the E313 (exit 27, 28, or 29) and E314 (exit 29) motorways. There are several car parks in and around the city centre.
