    • Kinepolis is a big movie complex with 14 cinemas, all offering the newest films. The complex is not only easy accessible as it is located on the large ring road of Hasselt, you can safely park your car in the big parking lot.
    A couple of cafes offer you drinks or a little bite before or after the movie.

    The advantage of movies in Belgium is that they are always shown in their original language with Dutch and French subtitles, so 90% of the movies are in English.

    • This cafe is a nice stop on your walk through the city. It is located in the cosy alley 'Walputsteeg' . Try the Leffe, it's on draught and tastes much better than the one in the bottle.

    • Close to the Gin museum, you can have a drink or something to eat in this cafe. Go and sit in the back and enjoy a Hasselt coffee (coffee with gin) in a stylishly interior.

     Looks verz chique and promising from the outside. Service was bad, long waiting. uruguan steaks were shoebottom, salad was just big salade leaves no decent dressing nor creativ plate, the shrimps and chicken were overcooked, the parma discount quality.    		mvtouring Fri Mar 23, 2007 10:25 UTC

     Hi Helga, Thanks for visiting my Colombia page :-) Somehow I missed Hasselt when I was in Belgium a few years ago, so maybe I'll have to go back again one day.
