Knokke-Heist, my second home - Knokke-Heist

K N O K K E - H E I S T is situated at the Belgian East Coast next to the Dutch border. It consists of 3 villages:

Knokke for the jetset,
Duinbergen for the ones who like it quiet and relaxing, and
Heist for active families on a budget.

It's a great place to stay during the summer. There is something for everyone: shopping for the women, beach and night activities for the kids and teenagers, nice cafes for the men and even good nature for the eco-tourists.

Pros and Cons

Pros:Broad white beaches, beautiful nature, many activities, good drinking and eating
Cons:Close to Zeebrugge harbour (noise, no pretty skyline)

Heerlijke pagina Helga en mooie foto's! Sun, Sea & Sand.... deze pagina doet me denken aan en verlangen naar de Nederlandse Noordzee kust. Hopelijk volgend jaar bezoek ik NL weer een keer en dan kun je me zeker een dagje op het strand vinden :-))
