The statue and the liquid indeed symbolise a student and beer. At the statue can be read (in Latin): "Wanneer het beer is uit de kan, de wijsheid is in de man", roughly translated this means "when the beer is out of the cup, the wisdom is in the man" | mariev Thu Jul 14, 2005 20:59 UTC
