THE LAKE DISTRICT, is located in North West England. This is a district of beautiful mountains and lakes, heathery slopes dotted with sheep and boulders. It is a popular place for hiking. Unfortunately, it is also the wettest part of England.

I would love to go hiking in the Lake District one day!
Nice to see the tips on Ulverston and Holker Hall. Not many people bother visiting this part!! Try some of the nothern highland roads in Scotland!!
I keep promising myself a trip to Alker Hall, I live so close but never visit!
pub food looks better than room sounds
Interesting start here. Oh well, carpet in thebathroom is a very English thing. The Lake district is still on my must visit list.
Ik kom terug voor meer :)
Like me, you write your accommodation tips first. Looking forward to seeing the rest of it.
