M A L A G A is not well-known by the tourists. They only know the airport and head straight for the more famous places at the Costa del Sol, like Torremolinos and Marbella.
This means it is still "Spanish" and authentic. Part of the city's attractions are the endless narrow streets, historic buildings and many (tapa) bars and restaurants.
It's a lovely place to saunter, enjoy Spanish life and to visit some of its gems like the cathedral, Alcazaba and Gibralfaro.
