T E N E R I F E, is the biggest of the seven islands of Canary islands, and in my opinion the most interesting and divers one. This island has something to offer for every tourist.
The weather is always nice, not too cold not too warm, there are a lot of facilities for the beach tourists in the south, you can explore the inner island with an impressive volcanic landscape, or experience the Spanish influences in the local villages.
The other six islands of the Canary Islands are La Palma, Fuerteventura, Lanzarote, Gran Canaria, Gomera and El Hierro, and, although they are situated in the Atlantic Ocean off the coast of Morocco, these islands belong to Spain.

What an interesting landscape and great pics ! No wonder, they used it for films like Star Wars and the Planet of the Apes. I hope you did not only see the cacti, but also had a chance to taste some of the delicious cactus-fruits. |
