  • Le Vasco is one of the restaurants located on the premises of the hotel 'La Chartreuse du Val St. Esprit'. It's a lovely place with a nice interior. Service and food are excellent and the portions are quite huge.

Le Robert II: Gastronomic dining in the hotel's restaurant

The hotel has a gastronomic restaurant with a refined decor and offers a creative and traditional cuisine, complemented with excellent vintage wine.

Favorite Dish: "Menu Decouverte": a 4-course menu. You can choose out of 3
starters (snails, crab and foie gras), 3 main courses (fish, game and lamb),
Cheese plate and dessert buffet. In between, they serve some delicious small extras like soup and sorbet.

The dessert buffet is unbelievable. I didn't know what to choose, there were just too many delicious desserts. You can take 3 pieces.

We must have gone past there on the way to Calais, but never thought to stop. Looks like an interesting place with a fine hotel.

My goodness what a history to these monastic buildings. I love the ones in the town. Menu Decouverte sounds wonderful.. I don't think I could fit dessert. sounds like you really enjoyed it there.
