S A N C T I . S P I R I T U S is the capital of the Sancti Spiritus Province, located in central Cuba. It was one of the seven cities founded by the Spanish in 1514. A lot of the colonial style can still be witnessed in the narrow streets and architecture. Unfortunately, the city has been neglected by its government and today many tourists go straight to the well preserved colonial city of Trinidad, making Sancti Spiritus almost tourist-free.
