  Pollution, traffic, higher prices than anywhere on the planet for mediocre food and wine, and lack of any customer service is what you will experience here. It is historically interesting if French medieval history is your concern.

  The worst restaurant experience I have ever had and want to have. Beautiful setting and decor but I noted 1 hour and 5 minutes and we hadn't got a bottle of water or wine after asking 3 times....complete mis management since the moment we sat down..

  Lovely Paris - Good to know about the location of Ibis Hotel, and taking the Thalys is comfortable

  Glad you had such good times in Paris. I've never taken the Thalys train, but starting in December 2007 there will be a TGV line between Frankfurt and Paris.

  Great page about Paris Helga!!! Great idea to go up the Eifel tower at night, I didn't know that was possible. Have to remember that for a next time I visit :-)))
