Grand Targhee - Alta

Want powder? Here it is. Over 500 inches per year! This out of the way hidden gem is well worth the 1 1/2 drive from Jackson Hole, Wyoming. The resort is in it's infancy, and it's great watching it grow. (Hopefully not too much though!)

This picture is of the long winding road up to the resort. I wouldn't want to drive it in a snow storm!

    Targhee offers grand powder and there are some very nice hikes in the summer, as well.
