"County Dublin" County Dublin by Deefstes

County Dublin Travel Guide: 5,508 reviews and 10,464 photos

Dublin city has grown so much that it pretty much occupies the full county. In fact, some would even argue that Bray (which is well into county Wicklow) is still part of Dublin.

Some parts would however be considered county Dublin. Essentially you get North County Dublin including places like Malahide, Donabate and Howth and South County Dublin with places like Glencullen and Tworock Mountain. I prefer South County Dublin - probably because I used to live there for a couple of months. Come to think of it, I used to live in Donaghmede for a couple too and that is practically North County Dublin. Anyway, I lost my heart in the South County and will stick to my preference.

However, I'm going to cover my County Dublin information in my Dublin pages just because it get's difficult sometimes to seperate what is Dublin city from what is County Dublin.
