A pretty boring town with a lovely name

I don't know, I'm not that big a Limerick fan. Probably just because by putting in just another few kilometers you can get to places like Kerry or Galway.

You do travel through Limerick occasionally and then it's good to know what to look out for.

Pros and Cons

Pros:On the way if you're traveling from Dublin to Kerry
Cons:Not really much to offer
In a nutshell:Go there if you must but don't expect too much

pity you didnt like my home town much, though i agree it's not the most exciting city in Ireland, it does have a good art & music scene.

I find that making limericks are an excellent way to practise your language. But I've taken note of your touristic tips :-)

I'm thinking of taking an English language course at UL, so you wouldn't recommend Limerick!??!
