Banker's Paradise | Bär poses in front of the flags. |
A lot of people associate Luxembourg with the banking industry, and it is true that there seem to be banks all over the capital city - I believe that there are 220 different banks represented in the Grand Duchy's capital. With my girlfriend being at Eurostat for six months, I had an affordable opportunity to explore the city and stay - accommodation otherwise being decidedly pricey. I discovered that whilst you can see most of the capital in a day without having to go at breakneck speed there is plenty to see and do, and that the city is a relatively undiscovered tourist venue. |
