"Latvia's Coastal resort" Jurmala by morgenhund

I visited Jurmala for the afternoon when in Riga for a Valentine's Day break - it was a far cry from the summery pictures here - the sea was frozen, the white sand beach was white from a snowfall and the temperature was several degrees below zero - with a windchilll factor adding to the fun. In summer though the place is far from deserted - as many people take their holidays here. I shall, one day, return in summer, where the pastimes are far different from ice fishing!
