Weiler's Bar: A fine little drinking hole

I used to pop in here for a coffee or two during the day, and by night it was my favourite haunt in Judenburg - the drinks were good, prices very reasonable and it was not as crowded with my students as other places, so made a welcome retreat. Nights in Weiler were always happy ones - I used to regularly stagger home in the small hours after having quaffed a fair few beers.

They used to having fancy dress parties for Fasching - I have blurred memories of one such event. It was the real nightspot for the 20-25 crowd (there were very few in Judenburg)

Paul's Café / Die Bar: One of those surreal moments

Paul's café was a favourite spot with teenagers (in particular the one's I used to teach!) that rather surreally had an entrance to a night club through the men's wash room - after about the tenth visit I did discover that the nightclub in the back could also be reached from the street - thus shattering the illusion. The music was pretty middle-of-the-road - the clientele young (I felt old at 20-21)
