The Third Man Private Collection is a small private museum in the 4th district, only open on Saturday afternoons - unless you book as a group - and is dedicated to The Third Man and post-war occupied Vienna. Tickets cost EUR 6 for adults and EUR 4 for concessions. There is a wide range of photographic material. One of the latest additions to the collection is the photo collection of Anton Karas, which alone must make this worth a visit. Pressgasse 25, 1040 Wien U4: Kettenbrückengasse

The Church of the Holy Trinity, by the 20th century Austrian sculptor Fritz Wotruba is quite off the beaten path, being out at the back end of the 13th district, and best reachable by the S1 and S2 Schnellbahn's to Atzgersdorf-Mauer, near the village of Mauer. Unlike most of the grandiose churches that Vienna seems to go in for, this is a simple affair made up of rectangular concrete slabs and glass panels. It has won plaudits from the Viennese for having been able to have the feel of a sanctuary inside whilst having a apocolyptic bunker style exterior. It is only open at weekends - 2-8pm on Saturdays and 9am-5pm on Sundays. To arrange a guided tour you need to make an appointment.

By one of the exits from Stubentor underground station (U3), on the Wollzeile opposite Plachutta, there is a sculpture of the city of Vienna as it apparently using to be with its bastions and of course the all-dwarving Stephansdom. This is something that a lot of people will miss seeing - but if you are in the area pause for a couple of minutes to have a look.
